Changes in Decision-Making
In 2017, CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership conducted a validity and reliability assessment, which led to some alterations to the Personal Outcome Measures®. While the 21 outcomes remain the same, they are now reorganized into 5 new factors and include some changes to the decision-making questions in determining if outcomes and supports are present.
Due to these changes, CQL has produced a document that lists the decision-making questions published in the previous edition of the Personal Outcome Measures® manual (2005), and compares them to the decision-making questions included in the latest edition of the Personal Outcome Measures® manual. This allows agencies and employees to continue to use that edition of the manual, in conjunction with this crosswalk that includes the updated questions.
